There's a person I know
There is a person I know.
A person whose faith radiates from his heart- whose passion for knowledge is relentless- whose smile is contagious- whose laughter brightens the day of anyone within 50 feet of him- whose sadness is sincere and reflective- whose joy is deep and profound- whose trust, once won, is unbreakable- whose personality breaks the boundaries of simplistic definitions such as "outgoing" or "contemplative"- whose love knows no limit- whose friendship I am blessed to have.
This person had a birthday this past weekend. I thank God that he was born, and I thank God that I have been given an opportunity to scratch the surface of all that he is.
