The Theology of the Cross...What is it?

Martin Luther, Douglas John Hall, Mary Solberg, Charles B. Cousar, Walther von Loewenich, Alister E. McGrath, Alberto L. Garcia, A. R. Victor Raj...just a few authors/theologians that come to mind as I invite you to delve into the "thin tradition" (term: Douglas John Hall) of the Theology of the Cross. The term theologia crucis (Latin: Theology of the Cross) is one that was identified by Luther in his Heidelberg Disputation.  It is not a theology about the cross but a way of doing theology...from the foot of the Cross.  I invite readers to enter into this conversation with me.  My hope for this blog is to explore the Theology of the Cross (TOTC) and promote dialogue...with a few tid bits of information about who I am and my senseless ponderings along the  way.
